Azwood has three main operations hubs across the South Island located in Nelson, Christchurch, and Milton, near Dunedin. This allows us to provide our products and services from the top to the bottom of the South Island.

How Azwood^® product is made

All Azwood® products are made from wood residues that would otherwise end up in dump sites and landfills setting Azwood apart. Our mission is to enhance the environment by harnessing natural residues.

The pelleting process

In 2023, Azwood invested in a new pellet press which increased wood pellet production capacity by over 50%.

This means we’re able to provide wood pellet fuel to more businesses throughout the South Island.

Increased productivity

Robot

Our new Brightwater Site Aurora Robot installed earlier this year has allowed us to take a large amount of the manual stacking and loading of bags off of staffs hands which is safer and it creates more efficiency and productivity for the overall pelleting process.

Transport & logistics

Azwood^® fleet

The Azwood® fleet of trucks allows the team to be able to deliver product throughout the Nelson Tasman region and Christchurch. For most of our deliveries, we work on backloads and resourcefully fill empty trucks heading your way to keep costs down.

If you’re located outside our main hubs of Nelson Tasman and Christchurch, we’ll work with our external transport and logistic partners to get your product delivered promptly.
